Eligibility Criteria for TET Exam Karnataka 2025
The eligibility is different for paper 1 and paper 2
Paper-1 (For Classes 1-5)
You must have any one of the following qualifications:
1.PUC/Senior Secondary ( or equivalent) with at least 50% marks
- Passed or appearing in the final year of 2year DIPLOMA in Elementary Education(D.El.Ed)
For SC/ST/Cat-I/OBC students,45% marks is acceptable.
2.PUC/Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks
- Passed or Appearing in 4 years Bachler of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed)
3.PUC/Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks
Passed or appearing in the final year of 2year DIPLOMA in Elementary Education(Special Education)
4.Bachlers’ Degree( BA/B.SC/B.COM)with at least 50% marks passed or appearing in 2 years D.El.Ed
Paper II (For Classes 6-8)
You must have any one of the following qualifications:
- Passed or appearing in B.Ed (Special Education)
- Graduation ( BA/B.SC/B.COM) with at least 50% marks
- Passed or appearing in 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education ( D.El.Ed)
- Graduation with at least 50% marks
- Passed or appearing in 1years Bachler in Education (B.Ed)
( 45% marks accepted for SC/ST/OBC with relaxation)
6.PUC/Senior Secondary with a least 50% marks/passed or appearing in 4 years B.El.Ed/B.Sc.Ed
Graduate with at least 50% marks
